About Headache Racks
Apart from the controversial name, a headache rack offers a lot of convenience to the heavy cargo haulers that stack the cargo high and need to protect the rear window and the cab. A headache rack is mounted right behind the cab and in front of the bed offering protection to the rear windows and prevent any cargo from ramming into the cabin and injuring the driver or the passengers while busting up the rear window. They can also be used to hang stuff from and provide additional shade and lighting.
