Here are some steps which you should follow in order to diagnose this P073C fault code:

• Initially you have to check the integrity of ATF. By using the dipstick check its level while running and when your vehicle is idle. The process varies a little between different manufacturers. However, this information can be easily found with the help of service manual of the vehicle or it will be printed in the dick. Ensure that the fluid is new and free from rubbles.
