Authentic Denso OEM part...
A maloneyÉvalué à RAWDON, QC le August 2, 2024
This was the perfect match for my 2002 Toyota Sienna. The air/fuel sensor is critical. If it fails, you'll notice your vehicle struggling, with misfires and terrible fuel efficiency. It felt like a transmission issue. But after installing this sensor, my car was back to its normal self. The acceleration issues were gone in under a minute, shifting was smooth again, and it felt like I was driving a brand-new car!
Oui, Je recommande ce produit.
Arrived late but fits well

I wish they offered a master pack with all the sensors I need for my vehicle.

Perfect fit for 2000 Avalon XLS

This sensor was a perfect match for my Toyota 2000 Avalon XLS and fixed the error codes P1130 and P1135 after replacing Bank 1 Sensor 1. Not sure if it's long enough for Bank 2 Sensor 1, but others say it's fine. At $145 CAD, it's a steal compared to dealership prices of $350 CAD or even the well-known auto parts store at $245 CAD.

Fixed the CEL with Error P1155 in 2001 Camry V6

This Air Fuel Ratio sensor, not an O2 sensor, fixed my 2001 Camry V6's Check Engine Light with code P1155. It's the OEM part from Denso for Toyota, and it was way cheaper than local auto parts stores, costing around $245 CAD from Parts Avatar. Remember, for a V6 engine, you'll need two of these sensors (part 234-9021), one at the front and one near the engine wall.

Perfect match for my Sienna, but a bit pricey
Lorenzo T.Évalué à KINGSTON, NS le July 28, 2024
This was the right fit for my 2002 Sienna to clear the P1135 Bank 1 Sensor 1 error [A/F sensor heater circuit malfunction]. Needed some car ramps and a 2.22 cm open-ended wrench, plus maybe some WD-40 to loosen things up. It was a bit of a workout getting my arm up there to unplug the pigtail and loosen the sensor. It feels a touch overpriced, so if it breaks again, I might look for a cheaper option. Kudos for the prompt shipping, though. Remember to disconnect the negative battery terminal first. After the fix, all fault lights on the dash were gone. Just a quick tip: If 'Door open' lights up on the dash because of the battery disconnect, just run the car and open and close both side doors using the switches below the radio to reset it.

Installed like a dream with just the right wire length

Got this from Parts Avatar for the front O2 sensor on my 2002 Sienna. The electrical cord is just the right length, not too long like previous models. Luckily, the old sensor was easy to remove. Bonus points to Denso for including anti seize lube for the sensor threads, just use a light touch with it.

The Right Part Does the Trick
R AshleyÉvalué à MAYERTHORPE, AB le July 26, 2024
The check engine light for bank 1 sensor 1 came on. Parts at the local store were $340 CAD, but I got this for much less. Light went off immediately after resetting, and the car runs smoother with no stuttering. It's been great!

Installation was a breeze

I installed both air/fuel Denso #234-9021 sensors on our 2000 ES 300; both banks went smoothly. A 22 cm wrench made it easy after using penetrant and warming up the engine for a couple of minutes. Bank 1 was a tad tougher, but a light tap did the trick. I replaced the sensors at 266,000 kilometers as regular maintenance to avoid 'engine light' issues. I'll be replacing the under-vehicle O2 sensor soon as needed. Despite a previous complaint about fuel additive leading to sensor failure, I've had no issues using 'Lucas' fuel and oil additives. With regular oil changes every 5,000 to 6,500 kilometers, it seems to help against sludge and carbon build-up. Valvoline's high mileage synthetic is top-notch. My only gripe? The sensors should be shipped in a box, not an envelope. The first sensor arrived damaged and had to be returned. The replacement worked perfectly, and I've noticed a bit more pep, especially on inclines. I'm keen to see if there's an improvement in fuel economy.
