Step 3

The lower control arm is attached to the shock absorber with one bolt. Before you remove this bolt and nut, place the jack stand underneath the lower control arm and crank the jack a little. 

Step 4

Once this happens, remove the lower shock absorber bolt. Then remove the other bolt from the top of the shock absorber. 

Step 5

Remove the shock absorber hardware carefully. Take the new shock absorber hardware and reverse the procedure as removed.
