Front Strut
About front strut
Struts comprise of numerous suspension assembly components, such as the coil spring and the shock absorber, and affects your car's steering and alignment. They give the suspension springs support and a lot of cars come with front struts, as well as back end shocks. Thus, the primary job of shocks is to absorb the bumps along the road.
What is the purpose of front strut?
They would be mounted at the front end of most front-wheel-drive automobiles at the top of the chassis. Struts, though, would not be restricted to front-wheel-drive configurations. The struts' main purpose is to support the vehicle's weight while also absorbing surface impacts while at the same time guaranteeing a smooth ride.
How front strut works?
The struts would perform a function of shock damping as shock absorbers do. Internally, a shock absorber is the same as a strut. A piston would be attached to the end of the piston rod and the spring and suspension movements would be controlled against hydraulic fluid.
