Put this in an old Toyota Camry, and it sure was bright. But it made the left turn signal blink twice as fast as the right one. It's not a product issue, more like a quirk of the car's design. Still, it did put a slight damper on my excitement.

      Bright Lights, But Need More Parts for '16 F-150 XLT

      Installed these LED reverse lights on my 2016 F-150 XLT SuperCrew. They're super bright but require a Sylvania Load Equalizer to work properly. The truck didn't recognize the low power draw and stopped sending power. Ended up returning them as I didn't want to buy additional parts.

          The build quality of these bulbs is impressive; they snap in securely and feel premium. Side-by-side with a halogen bulb, they seem brighter. But once installed, the light output feels similar, just a cooler white rather than warm.

              These bad boys caused a hyper-flash! You'd think a brand like Sylvania would have a fix for hyper flashing built-in, like the other guys do. Sure, I could swap the flasher unit for an LED-friendly one, but that means tearing apart the lower dash, and you'd lose that classic blinker sound—and no heads-up when a bulb goes kaput.
