Axle seals are subject to extreme conditions because they are exposed to the vehicle, and contamination exclusion under such conditions is extremely important and key to enhancing service life. SKF provides a broad range of shaft seals addressing the contamination issue of axle applications for cars, light trucks, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

Flanged OD permits proper seal assembly
To eliminate contamination easily, a sleeve is included that works as a flinger and labyrinth
Enhanced pumping performance to pump excess fluid away from sealing lip and shaft interface
