It fit my 2000 Super Duty without a hitch, though the nut on the top ball joints was a tad large. I used the old nuts, but a little grinding would make them perfect.

Solid ball joints for off-roading

I've been on these ball joints for a decade, racking up 80,000 to 96,000 kilometers off-roading on some tough terrain with my lifted truck and 94 cm tires. Though the upper ball joint lacks a snap ring slot and the castle nut on the lower ball joint can be a pain, the workaround with an old ball joint does the trick. Using Lucas extra heavy-duty green grease makes maintenance easy. The fit could be slightly improved for snap ring use on both ends, but overall, these are reliable for my heavy-duty setup.

Fit my 2000 Super Duty just fine. FYI, the nut on the top ball joints was a tad too big and touched the camber bushing. I just reused the old nuts, or you could file these down a bit.

I've been rolling with these ball joints for a decade, covering about 80,000 to 96,560 kilometers of off-road adventures. They've held up on my lifted truck with 94 cm tires like champs. The upper ball joint doesn't let you add a snap ring, which hasn't changed in 10 years, but they are still rock-solid. For the lower ball joint, you might need to get creative with the old ball joint and a wire brush to prep the nuts, but once that's sorted, you're golden. I've been using Lucas extra heavy-duty, green grease, and these bad boys have been nothing but reliable. Pumping out about 198 to 231 ml of grease before installation makes maintenance a breeze. If I'm being nitpicky, I'd love it if the upper ball joint was a smidge longer for snap ring use on both ends. If you hit a snag installing the lower ball joint, try using the top ball joint press tool with the bottom one for an easier time. All in all, these ball joints are tough cookies and I'm impressed with their performance on my hefty truck.
