        Gates Automotive XL® V-belt is a tough, heavy-duty replacement V-belt for the most challenging engine drives. This variable notched belt tightens on the drive when it heats up due to thermal stresses in the vehicle engine, preventing slippage or belt loss, improving belt performance, and reducing noise.

        • Gates Belts with fiber-loaded rubber stock give higher lateral stability in the pulley and improve flexibility along the length of the belt
        • For optimum fit to the pulley, form-ground guarantees accurate top width and sidewall dimensional control
        • Properly fitted and tensioned, thermally active tensile cords provide maintenance-free performance
        • For longer belt life, XL Belts are resistant to oil, heat, ozone, weather, and ageing
        • SAE J636C requirements are met or exceeded
