These hit the mark for my '15 Ram 1500—flawless fit. Two things to note: the hex-shaped anchors can round off quickly, making you resort to using the nut with the bearings. Also, expanding the anchors was tougher than anticipated. But no worries, all parts were included and the instructions were a breeze to follow.

Installed these on my 2019 Ram 2500 crew cab like a dream. The rivnuts seemed daunting but turned out to be super simple. Kept my rivnut tool well-greased, and it worked flawlessly. The NXT boards are now rock-solid on my truck thanks to this hardware pack. The rivnuts are aluminum and the bolts are grade 10.9, so I was careful not to overtighten to avoid galling, and slapped a little anti-seize on for good measure. For the other bolts with nuts, I used blue Loctite to keep everything tight.

Make sure to get the correct bracket kit for the DZ16121 oval Ultra black nerf bar step. My advice? Head to your local auto parts store to order the bracket kit. Let them be responsible for it. No hard feelings, Parts Avatar, it's not your fault. I ordered both the Nerf bar step and the bracket kit from you. The Nerf bar came in just fine, but the manufacturer's packaging for the bracket kit isn't sturdy enough. It's super heavy, with dozens of steel parts, and my box arrived damaged and open on one end. Had to send it back. You don't want to be mid-installation and find you're missing pieces. And it wasn't a one-off—the box was poorly taped and the cardboard just couldn't handle the weight.
