Dee Zee manufactures Hex cast step which is a side step (board) built from extruded aluminum and is overlaid with textured black powder-coat protection to stop corrosion in its tracks. Dee Zee’s patented NRT(TM) (No Rust Technology) is a specially developed additive that helps to increase the protection from corrosion within the powder coat also, it comes with an integrated channel design that allows adjusting the position of the cast aluminum drop steps for customized placement. Its cast design offers a larger stepping surface at each door for higher traction.
