Here are some steps which you should follow in order to diagnose this fault code:

• Read which codes the PCM has stored and see if there are any related codes that might point to the root of the problem using the OBD-II scanner.
• Visually inspect all relevant wiring and circuit to ensure that there isn’t an open or shorted circuit.
• It is important to understand that the Clutch Pedal Sensor Switch Circuit acts as a link between the ignition switch and the starter assembly. Thus, proper examination of all the components is required.
• Inspect the battery voltage on the input side of the clutch position sensor using the digital volt/ohmmeter.
