Here are some steps which you should follow in order to diagnose this fault code:

• With the help of a DVOM you have to diagnose this error code. The clutch start switch is always found between the ignition switch and starter solenoid. But the design of the started switch varies from one person to another.
• The starter switch is placed on the support bracket which is near the clutch pedal. In few models, you will find this switch directly on the pedal level
• You will the steady voltage on one side of the switch and when they are closed, the voltage is shifted to the starter relay.

• If you find voltage on output side, check for resistance and continuity between PCM and switch.
• Do the necessary repairs for the faulty connectors, wires and circuits.

• As a very rare case, PCM can be defective where reprogramming has to be done, if everything is fine as per manufacturer’s specification.
