When the PCM detects an internal performance error in the engine air mass or the Mass Air Flow (MAF) monitoring system, it sets the P061D error code. • Start off by procuring some equipment needed for the diagnosis of this OBD code. Even though it is a very common one, it required skill and also certain diagnostic car tools to resolve this error.
