A P032C trouble code means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a lower than expected sensor reading from the knock sensor #3 on bank 1. The Knock Sensor (KS) senses engine knocking (also known as detonation or pinging) using a piezoelectric element and tell the engine control module (PCM) that the engine has an excessive vibration resulting from an incorrect fuel and air mixture. If the PCM does not receive a signal from the knock sensor, it will set code P032C.
