The trouble code P0112 can be defined as the intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit low. It means that the Powertrain control module is receiving very low voltage from the IAT sensor and is usually caused because of the failure in the IAT sensor or some wiring issue.

The engine control module should be scanned, document the codes received, and the freeze frame data should be viewed to see the conditions present when the code was set

Clear all the fault codes and the vehicle should be retested to see if the code comes back
