The exhaust manifold will either be a set of pipes or a folding cast iron assembly that depends on the type of engine and vehicle. The burnt exhaust gas is taken from the engine's cylinder by the exhaust manifold, and the gas is ejected via the exhaust system through the tailpipe of the car. The exhaust gas is nothing but the residue of burnt fuel / air that is present during the combustion process in the cylinder of the engine. Because of the constant expansion and cover time, the constant expansion and contraction of the components (caused by constant engine heating and cooling) can cause the manifold to crack and leak. As hot exhaust gases escape, these leaks can be hazardous and can damage other components in the engine compartment. A leaky exhaust manifold has the potential to affect engine performance.
How It Works?
Exhaust Header is one of the easiest bolt-on accessories that you can easily instal for improving the performance of your engine. The headers ' main aim is to make it easy for your engine to push away the exhaust gases from the cylinders. That works by removing back pressure from the manifold. - cylinder will have its own exhaust pipe, rather than sharing a common multiplier. Each individual pipe is cut and then bent to the same length, ensuring that the exhaust gases of each cylinder come in the collector evenly spaced out and there is no back pressure generated by the cylinders that share the collector.
