Snagged this gadget to fix my speedometer after slapping on some 84 cm tires. The speedo was reading 120 kilometers per hour when my trusty Garmin said 112. Easy to connect and navigate the menus. But, I had to set it to '31.00' instead of '33.00' to sync with the Garmin, which is quite a jump. Expected better precision for the $140 CAD I forked out. Also, the software download from their site was a no-go, which feels like a ploy to make you shell out more down the line. Not cool.

Got my 2010 F150 speedo on point after a gear swap

Took a bit of time to find a cost-effective way to recalibrate my speedometer after slapping in some 4.10 gears on my 2010 F150 with a 5.4. Learned the hard way that Forscan won't play nice with my truck—there goes about $28 CAD. The Ford dealer was a shot in the dark; they weren't even sure they could recalibrate it and I might have wasted another $100 CAD. Turns out, Flashcal was the hero I needed. The manual was a bit of a head-scratcher since the pictures didn't match up, but a quick call to tech support had me sorted. Now I can tweak the speedo anytime I change gears or tires. Pretty slick!

I set it up for my tires and the speedometer was initially off. After a few adjustments and checking against my GPS, I got it to read accurately. With 83 cm tires, I had to set it to 80 cm, but now at 80 km/h, I'm only going 80.8 km/h, which is close enough for me.

2003 F250 7.3 gets a precise speedo

I used this on my 2003 F250 with a 7.3 diesel. My speedometer was off by about 8 kilometers per hour, but this tuner fixed it right up. Had to play around with entering a lower tire size measurement than actual to get the speedo accurate. It took a few tries to nail it, but it did the job I wanted in the end.
