      Spectra premium AC compressor is a primary component of the air conditioning system. It circulates the refrigerant within the system and pressurizes the system. The AC compressor increases the temperature of the refrigerant through compression before it is sent towards the condenser. A matching AC accumulator is offered for every AC compressor application.

      This was a complete unit, pre-oiled and ready to go. Quick to bolt on and super quiet in operation. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

          I got this for my '94 Dakota with a 3.9 and, wow, the compressor is brand new, not rebuilt! Only had to swap out the electrical plug, and then it was a perfect fit - cools like a charm and runs quietly. Super happy with it.

                          Installed this compressor and it's working like a dream. As a pro, I fitted it correctly with the right oil, fully evacuated the system, and added a new receiver drier and orifice tube. It seems well made, no weird noises and functions like the original equipment. I'm giving it 4 stars because the packaging was almost gone by the time it arrived, even though the unit itself wasn't damaged.
