What is an ac condenser?

The condenser is a heat exchanger. It is located at the front of the vehicle. The condenser cools down the refrigerant (heated up by the compressor) and becomes a liquid (condensates) by transferring its heat to the flow of ambient air passing through it.

How to confirm an AC Condenser is not working properly?

When an AC condenser is not working properly you will notice your Ari Conditioning not functioning or functioning intermittently. Another check to see if your AC Condenser is working correctly would be to check the pressure level of the high-pressure line of the AC system. If it is excessive that would imply the condenser is not able to do its job properly.

Do I need to retrieve the old refrigerant from the system?

Yes, it is extremely harmful to the environment to remove refrigerant improperly.

Will I need to add a new refrigerant?

Yes, once you are done replacing your condenser you will need to run a vacuum and then replenish the refrigerant.

This part was a reasonable stand-in for the OEM. A bit of tweaking was needed as three out of four mounting tabs were off-shape and had to be bent to fit, and the inlet/outlet tubes were a tad long. Packaging could've been better, too—it came with some scrapes. But hey, it works well and the price was fair.

The product was a decent substitute for the original part. I had to tweak three of the four mounting tabs to fit into the chassis slots. The inlet/outlet tubes were a bit too long, but it was an easy fix. The packaging could've been better though—the part had some scuffs from bouncing around during shipping. Despite that, it works fine and the price was fair.
