      • Skyjackerr Suspensions offers you a high quality shock absorber with true velocity sensitive valving. Shock absorbers, or spring dampers as it is called everywhere else except in the U.S., control the rate at which suspension springs compress and rebound. As the shock is pushed together, this is called bump or compression. As the shock expands, this is called rebound or extension. Absorbing the `shock' of bumps and suspension loading is actually performed by the springs in the suspension. The shock's real job is controlling the energy stored in the springs.

                  They were a breeze to install...well, except for the bushings. If you can't hammer them in, find someone with a press. Other than that, they're top-notch.

                      Just a heads up, these hydraulic shocks aren't meant to be pressurized. They're top-notch, and while I haven't installed this set yet, I've had them on another truck before. Got them for my '95 F150 with a 15 cm lift and they're just what I needed.

                                  These fit my '93 Wrangler and gave it a slight height boost, even though they're standard height shocks. Still a bit stiff but they're settling in nicely with just a few hundred kilometers on them. It's like having a brand-new vehicle by comparison. They look and function wonderfully.
