              I was concerned about getting a counterfeit, but this turned out to be a genuine Remy, brand new not rebuilt. It came with authentic Remy packaging and documentation. I used it for a 3G alternator upgrade on my 1988 F-150, and it fit perfectly with just a bit of trimming on the factory bracket. I replaced all the factory wiring with new 4AWG cables and a 150-amp mega fuse. There's a slight modification needed for the top bracket, but nothing difficult. After re-clocking the alternator, my electrical system is running strong at 14.5 volts, no matter what's turned on. I should've upgraded years ago!
