      The distributor works fine, but it's crucial to note that it's a SHORT SHAFT DISTRIBUTOR and requires a longer oil pump shaft. It's not plug-and-play for every engine, especially pre-1987 models. It's frustrating to discover this after the engine is already installed. They need to get their compatibility facts straight.

          Hooking up was super easy. Installed it with an MSD box, removed the module, and the engine fired up straight away. Did this on a '77 Mustang with the original 302.

                  My '69 F100 with a 302 5.0L V8 had a misfire, pointing to distributor issues. Swapping in this new Pro Form distributor did the trick—problem solved, great value for money. Parts Avatar even included fast, hassle-free delivery to my door in Inverness, Scotland, just in time for a couple of car shows. A huge thank you to the guys, and for the distributor, it's a solid 10/10.

                          Slotted in flawlessly and worked like a dream! It's great to add some GM quality to a Ford. It tidied up the engine bay and boosted the ignition system. Did have to switch out the heater hose fitting for clearance, but it was worth it. The pre-set mechanical advance was a cherry on top.
