      I was expecting a deeper yellow, but these turned out to be a lighter shade—still, no big deal as they're super bright and slice through fog and bad weather with ease. PIAA bulbs are top-notch in my book.

                  Not Ideal for DRL/High Beam Combo

                  If your ride uses the same bulb for DRL and high beam, these aren't the best choice. The DRL dims the bulb, so you don't get the full-on yellow these bulbs are meant to show. Plus, the HB version has two sets of o-rings (red and black). If you're struggling with the fit, try swapping them out. Without changing o-rings, these won't fit a 2015 Forester as a DRL/high beam (9005) replacement.

                          Switched out some long-lasting Hoen Endurance bulbs after one gave out. These new ones haven't been in long, but they're looking sharp and match my PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow City lights really well. Light output is decent—not outstanding, but decent. The car's a B7 A4 Avant. I'll be sure to update if any issues pop up, like them not lasting or, even worse, melting the housings.
