Snagged a couple of these 9005 bulbs for my high beams. They were getting old and browning, not great for DRLs. These bulbs hit the sweet spot – solid performance at a good price.

      If you need good, affordable halogen bulbs, these Philips ones are a solid pick. They're as bright as most 55w automotive headlights, so don't get swayed by fancy claims. You cuold spend up to $140 CAD on LEDs or $110 CAD on HIDs, but for a straightforward replacement, these are a deal. I've relied on them for years without any issues.                       All you need to ditch those overpowered, short-lived halogens. I've stopped wasting money on Sylvanias and this has worked perfectly for just a fraction of the cost.
