For muscle vehicles, street rods, and even circle track racers, the Chevrolet HEI Distributor is a popular choice. The integrated coil keeps underhood wiring tidy, and the idea of only having one wire to the distributor simplifies things for race cars. The stock HEI, on the other hand, fails to deliver in terms of performance. With their Pro-Billet HEI, MSD meets the demand for a robust, accurate, and high-performance HEI. Our Digital HEI Module and Coil are included with the distributor, providing ample spark energy as well as better dwell and timing control. MSD's adjustable centrifugal advance assembly is tig welded on top of the distributor shaft. Up to 24 distinct timing curves can be dialled in using three sets of springs and four stop bushings, depending on your driving needs. There's also a vacuum advance for individuals worried about the economy. All of this is held together by a CNC-machined casing that is both precise and attractive. The new cap, rotor, and coil cover, as well as heavy-duty gear, are included with the distributor, making it ready to install in your engine. The PN 8365 is intended to replace GM HEI Distributors with 4-pin ignition modules.
