My old '05 Chevy van was rough on the roads, and swapping it for a '14 GMC Savanna cargo van didn't do me any favors. Over nine years, and it seems like none of those issues were ever addressed. In my quest for a smoother ride, I took a punt on the Monroe Reflex, hoping it would do the trick. The install was straightforward, and it's managed to take the edge off the harshness, but I'm still getting airborne over some freeway bumps. I have a hunch other shocks might not fare much better—you can't turn a beast into a beauty, after all.

My old '05 Chevy van had a ride that could shake your teeth out, and sadly, my '14 GMC Savanna cargo van wasn’t much of an upgrade. After nine years, it seems like the same old issues haven't been addressed. I couldn’t find any helpful reviews on shocks, so I took a shot with the Monroe Reflex, hoping it would smooth things out. They were easy to install, but the ride is still pretty stiff, although a bit less jarring. I still get tossed around over some highway bumps. I doubt other shocks would fare much better—you can't turn a beast into a beauty, I guess.

Getting functional shocks was a hassle! The first two were great, the next pair had one dud, then one got lost in delivery, and another arrived in poor condition. A 66% success rate just doesn't cut it.

My vehicle's ride quality has significantly improved. You wouldn't think a 2021 GMC Savanna would need suspension work, but these new Monroe Reflex shocks did wonders.

I'm a fan of these shocks for their solid price and quality. Gave our van a smooth ride. It's a one-tonner so it's usually a bit tougher, but installation in our driveway wasn't too rough.

I'm a fan of these shocks—they were a good buy, quality is solid, and they gave our van a comfy ride. It's a one-ton, so it's a bit of a challenge, but still not too bad to install right in our driveway. Positive sentiment.
