Mann Filter By Pass Oil Filter

Mann Filter By-Pass oil filters are secondary flow filter elements that can be recognized by the full-length metal outer sleeve with few perforations. Approximately 5 to 10% of lubricating oil is diverted into the secondary where it is filtered by the cotton fiber media of the partial flow filters that absorb ultra-fine contaminant together with a large quantity of dirt. Mann filter offers oil filters with fiber-packed/pleated paper dual flow-filter elements for combined full-flow/secondary flow oil filtration. The pleated paper element filters 90 to 95% of the main flow, whereas the remainder of the oil flow is finely filtered by the cotton fibers of the secondary flow segment. The PF dual-flow filter element can be recognized by their partial metal sleeves with few perforations together with a pleated paper media segment.
