Solid Product, Struts on Point

Got two struts delivered on time as promised, though they looked slightly different – one's from Japan, the other's American-made. Had them installed over the weekend and my ride's handling is so much better. Feels almost like when it was new. Also picked up a couple for the back – model KYB 334228.

The handling and control are way better now, no more 'floaty' ride over dips and bumps—it's like a sports car ride. The downside is that the ride can be a bit rough on very rough roads, but the added responsiveness in curves is amazing. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results of these new struts.

Got these for my 2002 Monte Carlo in need of a new suspension after years of dealing with NYC's pothole-ridden streets. Opted not to skimp and go for a cheaper brand, and boy, am I pleased with that decision. This damper is solid and robust. My mechanic praised KYB as a durable brand, and I concur, especially after seeing how it elevated my braking response and smoothness of the ride. It's a bit stiff, but for NYC driving, it's just the ticket.
