Let me tell you, I own about 10 Ingersoll Rand air tools and they're tough as nails. I've been using this 3/8" air drill daily for a decade—dropped it, ran it over, even set it on fire, and it still runs like a champ. It survived a dunk in a 55-gallon drum of oil and a nitrogen bucket—don't ask how. They stand by their products, and while you might get a dud once in a while, these tools are virtually indestructible. I'm a millwright with 15 years under my belt, and I've given these tools a real beating. They're excellently made. Definitely worth the investment, and hey, it's not noisy. Pro tip: get a chuck with a key; those keyless chucks don't last.

Refused to pay the Snap-on prices and after some research, I settled on this drill. Super pleased with it. It's an amazing low-speed drill and doesn't burn through bits thanks to its steady performance. As someone who often drills out hardened bolts, this tool has made my life less stressful. In general, I'm a big advocate for IR air tools, from their impacts to heavy-duty use, they rarely let me down as long as I keep them lubricated.

It was shipped out fast and arrived just a few days after ordering. It's a solid drill, exactly what you'd expect from Ingersoll Rand. The keyless chuck is handy. The trigger feels good, offering variable speeds, and it's not an all-or-nothing kind of deal. It's got good power for a 3/8 drill but it's not 'HEAVY DUTY' strong.

Reliable Drill for Work Trucks

Bought this drill for my work truck and it's really well-made with great RPM control. The keyless chuck is a genuine 'Jacob's' and works flawlessly. I also grabbed an AirCat's 3/8" Reversible / Keyless drill.
