GATES

Gates 90° Molded Heater Hose easily adapts to the sharp bends in the assemblies. Easing the task of replacing the hoses with existing sharp bends, the 22 sizes handle several applications and are curated to last long as they resist electrochemical degradation and water permeation. It should not be used for fuel or oil transfer applications.

  • Can operate under an extreme temperature ranges of hot and cold: -40°C to +135°C (-40°F to +275°F).
  • SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1") ID, SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1") ID or larger
  • Features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber reinforcement, EPDM cover
  • Couple to hose bead fitting fastened with hose clamps

      I used this hose as a crankcase vent breather tube on my 2005 Ram 1500 with the 4.7L. It's the rubber hose that goes from the valve cover to a plastic tube that connects to the air cleaner.

                  Created a cooling mod for my Subaru. This part was perfect due to the 90-degree bend. It was a bit longer than necessary, so I trimmed it down, using the extra piece for the adapter to the Tee I also got.

                          This hose seems like it's been around the block. The ends were a bit rough, and the braiding didn't look brand new. Installed it for my heater hose, but time will tell how it holds up.
