After my original Ford regulator gave out after a decade, I browsed Parts Avatar and chose a mid-priced option, steering clear of the super cheap ones. It installed fine, though some parts that were metal on the original are plastic here. Not sure how that will fare, but for now, it's working as well as the original. If it lasts half as long, I'll be content because it was only a third of the price.

          Installation was a breeze, fits like a glove, and no noise when rolling the window up or down. Just a heads up, this doesn't come with a motor, so make sure yours is working before you order.

                  Bought this for well under half what the dealer wanted. Watched a how-to on YouTube and it was a breeze. Having my son help out was great, as an extra pair of hands came in handy and he picked up a thing or two. Tip: snap some pics before yanking the old one, so you'll know where the cables should go on the new install. Best of luck!
