              This pin is key for connecting the automatic transmission shifter lever to the shift tube on Ford truck steering columns. If you're replacing your shift lever, swap this out too to eliminate any play from a worn pin.

                  It slotted in just right, and the rubber part keeps it securely in place. The rubber on my old one was too worn out to keep the pin secure anymore.
