Dayco upper radiator hose is designed with knitted reinforcement and all EPDM construction for increased strength and resistance to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone, coolants, and temperature variations of -40˚F (-40˚C) to +257˚F (+125˚C) that are required for OEM radiator hose replacements. Dayco radiator hose has an inner base tube that is reinforced with knitted rayon for maximum strength and burst resistance for longer life. Besides meeting SAE J20R4, Class D-1 requirements, radiator hose by Dayco is also designed to meet Type EC electrochemical requirements as specified in SAE J168.
When routing permits, it is intended to replace moulded curved radiator hoses.
Dayco Gold Label Heavy Duty Flex Radiator Hose is hand-built with synthetic EPDM, heavy-duty fabric, and wire reinforcement for high burst strength and collapse resistance. The ribbing delivers exceptional flexibility and kink resistance. This robust design resists the impacts of ozone and other harmful environmental factors, coolants, coolant additives, and other harsh chemicals.
The SAE J20R5, Class C, or heavy-duty standards are all satisfied by this hose. The temperature range for this hose is -40°C to +100°C (or 212°F to 400°F).
