Castrol® EDGE® Euro Car Engine Oil is an advanced full synthetic motor oil specially engineered to increase engine durability and unlock maximum performance in European vehicles. Castrol EDGE Euro Car formulas have been optimized to meet or exceed the stringent requirements of the various European Automobile Manufacturers Association or ACEA oil sequences. Many European vehicles have ultra-efficient, high-performance engines that generate extreme pressure and operate at high temperatures. This intense pressure creates friction that can waste up to 10% of engine performance, and severe heat can reduce oil flow. These fluids are engineered with Fluid Titanium Technology to transform under pressure, increasing their film strength to prevent oil breakdown and reducing friction to unlock maximum engine performance.

This multi-grade oil comes in various grades, viz. 0W30, 0W40, 5W30, etc. (W stands for winter). Edge A3/A4 0W-40 grade motor oil is liquid engineered to flow as smoothly as a 0 Weight oil in winter temperatures yet behave like 40 Weight oil once the engine has achieved its full operating temperature. Choose the right oil for your vehicle based on two parameters, i.e., the temperature at which you regularly drive and your engine’s recommended oil viscosity grade.
