of transportation) rated car mirrors are
certified for vehicle use at all times and are mostly installed by the
manufacturer for safety purposes. On the other hand, a number of other rear

attached inside the bracket on the mirror. All the adhesive should be removed
using a scraper.

Clean the dust: Using a wet a lint-free cloth along with isopropyl alcohol,
wipe the inside of the glass to remove any dust remaining after the adhesive
has been scrapped. Then allow the alcohol to evaporate completely before moving
onto attaching a mirror to the glass.

Unscrew the mounting screws: Again, unscrew these from the base of the car
mirror connecting to the cab. The screws should be taken out of the mirror
housing.

The mirror should be removed: Remove the
gaskets.

Get adhesive from the rearview car mirror adhesive kit: Now you should apply
the adhesive to the back of the mounting plate. Position the mounting plate on
the area of the glass where you marked it.

Gently press on the mounting plate to seat the glue: By doing this the glue
will get heated up and all the air will be removed. This can be done on

mirror into place so that it fits firmly and does not move at all.

The mounting screws should be installed into the base of the mirror with clear
silicone: Tighten the screw.
