Had a bit of a scare when the pressure dropped to zero initially. Turns out it was just water inside the gauge, which froze due to the propane. Once it thawed, I removed the water, reattached the gauge, and now it works great again. No worries if this happens!

Handy for RV Use, But There's a Risk of Leaks

Came back to find this gauge had leaked and drained my propane tank. It was straightforward to install and fairly accurate, but I stopped using it to avoid the risk of leaks in my propane system.

I got this to let me know before my garage heater's tank runs out. In the past, I've swapped tanks prematurely, not wanting to be caught off-guard mid-project. Like others mentioned, you don't get much heads-up when the tank's about to go empty—the pressure stays pretty consistent until the liquid turns to gas and burns off. Once that happens, the gas goes fast, and you better be eyeing a replacement tank. This gauge is a game-changer; I have a heads-up when the pressure dips, and I'm not wasting tanks that still have life in them. Considering I'm saving around $28 CAD per tank, this gadget's already paid for itself.

If you're in the market for one of these, go for it. It's hard to mess up a pressure gauge, though I can't vouch for its accuracy. Just note that when the line is open and gas is flowing, it might show low pressure.

Got this for my RV's propane tanks to avoid running out on chilly nights. It's good at indicating when the tank's full, half, or a quarter full, but it skips the yellow and goes straight from green to red.

This device works for low-draw items, but not for high-draw ones like an RV, where it shuts down thinking there's a leak. So it's just alright for things like a grill.
