Does NOT fit 2013 RS w/quad-tips a.k.a. Dual-Mode Exhaust. Chevrolet pulled all the stops to ensure the re-launch of the legendary Camaro was worth the wait to agonized fans, and the world?s most winning exhaust has responded in kind. Rather than simply work from concept vehicles and drawings, Borla RD engineers headed down under to the GM Holden facility in Australia to work directly with the GM Camaro team. The result of this exciting collaboration is a series of Cat-Back and Axle-Back exhaust systems, providing the ultimate in tuned performance, sound, style and fitment. Borla?S Camaro Cat-Back arsenal is led by an aggressive high-performance ?S-Type" system (PN140280) that utilizes patented XR-1? technology from Borla exhausts used in race-winning Corvettes and other GM champions. Drivers who prefer a more subdued sound will opt for (PN140281), a ?Touring? version that combines a racing heart with a more stealth-like growl. Each of these Cat-Back options comes complete with an x-pipe for increased flow and richer sound, and is also available as an Axle-Back system S-Type (PN11775), and Touring (PN11774). On top of the power, sound and looks, drivers also enjoy significant weight savings with a Borla exhaust, shedding as much as 43 lbs. over stock ? enough to make a difference at the pump and the track. Like all Borla exhaust products, the Camaro systems feature durable high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction, patented ?power when you want it, fuel economy when you need it? technology, mirror-polished T-304 stainless steel tips and a Million-Mile Warranty. Borla Axle-Back Exhaust system with Bright tip finish is built with a patented straight-through and multi-core technology to release hidden horsepower and generate a forceful sound and higher flow. The exhaust system has a unique, powerful sound that every motoring enthusiast trusts as it improves exhaust velocity and adds more power. It also offers additional excitement while driving and helps in saving fuel. Premium 300-Series austenitic stainless steel superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409) is used to give the most satisfactory performance and durability. It also features an ultra-smooth mandrel bend with maximum exhaust flow and power. Most vehicles come with a factory service point in the exhaust system (flange or slip-fit) installed in the exhaust tubing behind the rear axle. Vehicles with no factory service point require cutting. Borla’s axle-back installations barely take less than an hour to finish without cutting the factory system, and it comes with easy-to-follow instructions to complete the installation. Borla Axle-Back Exhaust system with bright tip finish uses Aircraft-grade 304 stainless steel tubing, a material with a higher content of carbon and nickel to resist rust or corrosion, for the automotive exhaust aftermarket. It is precisely engineered with a computer-controlled CNC to provide a perfect fit. The axle-back exhaust system features multicore technology providing long-lasting durability.
