      ATP PROFESSIONAL AUTOPARTS

      ATP-Professional-Autoparts flexplates found in vehicles with automatic gearboxes are crafted from premium quality steel that provides strength and durability. Correct bolt hole spacing and the ring gear teeth enhance the flex plate's service life. The engine and transmission are connected by flex plates, allowing the torque converter to expand as the engine RPM rises. The majority of flex plates are comprised of thick sheet metal with torque converter bolt holes and starter teeth. Over time, a flex plate's continual expansion and contraction might result in cracks and/or shearing. Flexplates that have been broken cannot be fixed; they must be replaced.

      The flexplate was a little beat up, not sure if it was from the factory or shipping. Wasn't anything that affected performance. Fit correctly for my '98 4.0/AW4 setup. Parts Avatar is awesome and always has better prices than the parts stores.

              Bought this for a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L and at first, I was worried it wouldn't fit properly. But, once I found the right holes for the bolts, it was a perfect fit. Works great, and I'm relieved I didn't have to drop the transmission again!
