follow in order to diagnose this fault code:
- It is essential to consult your
vehicle information source for technical service bulletins (TSB) that replicate
the code stored, vehicle (year, make, model, and engine), and symptoms

- You will require a diagnostic

volts.

terminal to the signal wire terminal.
- The voltmeter should now read 5
volts. If not, repair the open on the signal wire, or the powertrain control
module should be replaced. If all prior
tests have passed and you continue to get a P2541, this would most likely indicate
a failure in the FPS sensor, although a failed PCM could not be ruled out until
the FPS sensor had been replaced.
- If unsure, then you should seek
assistance from a trained automotive diagnostician. PCMs should be programmed,
or calibrated to the automobile in order to be installed in the right manner.
