Step A - Obtain your vehicle specific Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and see if you can find the code and ways to resolve it there. If you find that there is an absence of power source or ground, then you will need to perform continuity tests to verify the strength of the wiring, connectors and other components. These continuity tests have to be performed after removing power from the circuit and the readings for wiring and connections should show 0 ohms of resistance. Resistance of no continuity is indicative of improper wiring, or shorted or corroded wires. These must be repaired and replaced as needed.
