If the test light fails to illuminate, a problem in the circuit should be suspected.
- Well, if it does illuminate successfully, the wiring harness going to the actuator should be twisted to observe if the test light flashes on and off, indicating an intermittent connection. Even after all the tests have been performed and you continue to get a P210D, a failure in the throttle actuator should be suspected, although a damaged PCM could not be ruled out until the throttle actuator is restored.
