The hybrid/EV battery interface control module plays the role of constantly codifying the voltage reading and sending it forward to the battery energy control module through the battery control harness. On battery sections one and two, there is one hybrid/EV battery interface control module built. Two hybrid/EV battery interface control modules are linked with battery section three. All these components including the hybrid/EV battery interface control module, battery energy control module wiring harness, auxiliary battery wiring harness, and battery energy control module can be seen serviceable parts. The function of detecting a fault condition is performed by the battery energy control module. Using serial data, diagnostics and system status are transmitted from the battery energy control module to hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2.
