• Since this error is pertaining to transmission, always start by inspecting the transmission fluid dipstick. Be thorough in checking and ensure that the fluid level is as per manufacturer's specification for your vehicle make and model. Also inspect the fluid for its quality. It should be in good working condition, if it has any burned smell or looks abnormal in any way, you will have to replace it.
• The burned fluid is an indication that your vehicle's transmission was operating on low fluid levels, this could also mean that the transmission may have suffered internal mechanical failure due to this condition. Now test all the circuits related to the electronic pressure control solenoid as well as the solenoid for resistance and continuity.
