OEM quality and fit, just like Toyota's
Jeremy M.Reviewed in PREVOST, QC on July 29, 2024
It's as advertised, a Denso part (just like what Toyota uses), an identical part that works as expected. Plus, I saved some cash :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

No More Hesitation on Takeoff

My 2012 Prius 2 with over 418,000 kilometers on the odometer used to hesitate when taking off in the Southern Ontario heat (which is pretty much daily at this time of year). Then, the check engine light flagged a restricted MAF sensor. After clearing the code and it popping back on, I gave the sensor a good clean with some CRC MAF sensor cleaner, let it dry, and popped it back in—an easy fix, and the light stayed off. I've been noticing a slight dip in gas mileage this year, so I've got new spark plugs, coils, and oxygen sensors ready to go in, but haven't installed them yet. With the cleaned MAF, the car's running smoother, and takeoffs are hesitation-free, maybe even with a slight bump in fuel efficiency (though it's a bit early to say for certain). I feel a tad less power, but I'm hoping once the computer adjusts to the new air/fuel mix, it'll sort itself out. The sensor, a Denso, arrived in tip-top shape, looking just like my old one but with a different number. After clocking over 418,000 kilometers, it was definitely time for a MAF refresh. The car's running great, but I'm not stopping here—I'm planning to replace a bunch of parts, clean out the EGR, and tidy up the Hybrid battery fan, since I've heard they can drag your mileage down if they get clogged. So far, the new MAF is doing its job nicely.

Fits my 2013 Prius like a glove, and it's the same product you'd get at local auto stores but for $185 CAD instead.

A perfect match for the 2010 Prius
A toledoReviewed in UCLUELET, BC on June 15, 2024
Had an engine error light up like a bonfire on my 2010 Prius. After a quick scan pointing to this sensor – while the car was acting all normal – I decided to go for it. Found it cheaper than Auto Zone or anywhere else for that matter. Swapping it out, the error vanished and the car? Still cruising like usual. Nothing bad to say about this sensor.
Yes, I recommend this product.
