Easy Diagnosis Of Engine Error OBD Code P255D

  • A qualified mechanic will need a digital volt ohm meter (DVOM) for the complete test. Continue through the tests until the problem is confirmed. You will also need a basic OBD code scanner to reset the computer and erase the code.
  • Begin by checking the levels of the transmission oil. Visually inspect the transmission itself for damage. Inspect the vehicle housing for signs of cracks or damage. If there are any cracks that may or may not be leaking, the transmission should be replaced. Replace any damaged seals.
