This is a general type of error code which indicates an issue with the throttle actuator control system. You can also find this error code with the other throttle body codes. This error code is applicable to every vehicle that is equipped by a drive-by-wire throttle control system, but the limitation exists to certain vehicles like ford, volvo, dodge, jeep, etc. The P2112 error code is one of the possible error code which signifies that the PCM has found a malfunction in the operation of the throttle actuator control system.

The P2112 error code will let you know that a stuck closed throttle plate has been found by the throttle body actuator control system.
