It is advised that when the vacuum pressure applied to the IMRC actuator, make sure to check that the flaps are opening upon request. The scanner data should be observed to see if IMRC sensors (if installed) are functioning properly, if they open aptly. If abnormalities are notified, the respective sensor/s using the DVOM should be probed. The sensors that fail to match with manufacturer specifications should be suspected as damaged.
