The P0135 fault code can be described as an oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction in bank 1, sensor 1. This code would indicate that the engine control module has tested the oxygen sensor and during that time has found an issue with the sensor 1 in bank 1. Now you must be thinking that what is “Bank 1”? Bank 1 is the side of the car engine which has #1 cylinder and Bank 2 would be the opposite side of this.
