Hummer H2 Front Hub Assembly
About Front Hub Assembly
Wonder what the hub of the front wheel is? A wheel hub assembly (WHA) known as the hub assembly, wheel hub unit, wheel hub bearing, etc. is the automotive part used in most cars, passenger vehicles and light and heavy trucks.
What is the purpose of Front Hub Assembly?
A wheelbase is the mounting assembly for the wheel of a vehicle, which holds both the wheel bearing and the lugs. Some new vehicles also have an electrical sensor and an ABS sensor attached to an energy connector. The aim of the wheel hub is to keep the wheel on the bearing while it is attached to the vehicle. The only portion that holds the wheels to the car is the wheel hub, so when installing those parts it is extremely important to be careful.
Where is Front Hub Assembly Located?
The Wheel Hub Assembly is located between the drive axle and the brake drums or discs. It is bolted on a wheel. The end of the hub comes equipped with the splined teeth, depending on the construction. On the shaft of the axle they mate the teeth. The axle hub spins along with the wheels that are bolted to it and gives the wheels the power to rotate. A roller bearing between the hub of the axle and the shaft of the axle ensures simple rotation of the non-drive wheels. On the side of the axle, it is mounted from the chassis to the holding bracket; on the side of the disc, the wheel is mounted on the Wheel Hub Assembly bolts.
